FEDACOVA holds the Training Meeting “Sustainability in the food sector. First steps towards a strategy”.

Sustainability has ceased to be an abstract concept and is now integrated into the strategy and the entire value chain of companies, becoming a key tool in the relationship with all stakeholders; risk control and management; optimisation in resource management; the drive for innovation, and continuous improvement. For all these reasons, the companies that adapt first will gain in efficiency and profitability and will have important competitive advantages.

With the aim of providing companies with a roadmap in their strategy towards sustainability, FEDACOVA, together with the Regional Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries, and ÉTICA sostenibilidad, held, on Tuesday 7th November, the Training Meeting Sustainability in the food sector. First steps towards a strategy, in which, during 90 minutes, the experts guided the attendees in the design and evolution of this strategy. In addition, Helados Estiu was presented as a success story, in a dialogue that will take place at the end of the session.
