FEDACOVA, as a beneficiary partner of the SUI-FOOD project (Start-Up Internationalisation in the agriFOOD industry), participated, through its international manager, Alicia García-Reyes, in an interview for a SEPIE study on digital transformation in the vocational training sector, last Thursday 25th January.
During the course of this interview, digital transformation was discussed from the points of view of organisational changes within the beneficiary organisation and the project partners, as well as innovative teaching, learning and training practices, digital skills development of staff and synergies with other sources of funding.
This conversation highlights the importance of international cooperation for vocational education and training, which is key to innovation and inclusion. Sharing knowledge and experiences with other international partners has resulted in a broader vision of trends and possibilities in educational innovation, which has contributed to the generation of new ideas and given access to new and innovative resources and opportunities.
The creation of a network of international contacts has also allowed FEDACOVA to collaborate with other partners in educational innovation projects. An example of this is the CoDEMO project, which aims to develop training content oriented towards industry 5.0 to benefit, among others, our artisans in traditional sectors such as ice cream makers, horchateros, bakers and butchers, who need specific training to support and help maintain and sustain the durability of these trades that contribute to enriching the economy and depopulation, among other benefits to society.
