FEDACOVA and KPMG have renewed the alliance established a year ago with the update of their collaboration agreement. Rafael Juan, president of FEDACOVA, and Miguel Ángel Paredes, partner in charge of KPMG in the Community of Valencia and Region of Murcia, were responsible for materialising this cooperation with the signing of the renewal document.
In this way, both entities maintain their commitment to work together for the benefit of the Valencian agri-food industry. To this end, they will collaborate in promoting and carrying out activities of interest to the sector and the companies that make it up.
The signing of the agreement took place last week at the KPMG office in Valencia and was attended by Sergio Barona, Secretary General of FEDACOVA; Regina Civera, Audit Director at KPMG, and Andrés Iñigo, Director of Corporate and M&A Law at KPMG Abogados, both in Valencia and Murcia.
For Rafael Juan, the fact that these alliances are being forged and renewed demonstrates “the interest in the agri-food industry as a strategic sector and KPMG’s commitment to support and promote it”.
Miguel Ángel Paredes stressed that “the renewal of this agreement demonstrates KPMG’s commitment to the agri-food sector in the Valencian Community, in our desire to provide knowledge and solutions to the new regulatory, competitive and technological challenges we face”.
