FEDACOVA held, together with the Department of Agriculture, Rural Development, Climate Emergency and Ecological Transition and the collaboration of Ética Sostenibilidad and Helados ESTIU, the training meeting “SUSTAINABILITY IN THE AGRO-FOOD SECTOR. FIRST STEPS TOWARDS A STRATEGY”, on 7 November.
First of all, Sergio Barona, Secretary General of FEDACOVA, highlighted the great challenge facing the agri-food industries in terms of sustainability and how important it is to know how to take those first steps towards a strategy.
Sabrina Femenia, Director General of Ética Sostenibilidad, explained to the agri-food industries how to define a sustainability strategy. To do so, she indicated the benefits and how to carry it out, taking into account the main levers of change.
To explain how to take these first steps in terms of sustainability, Marta Bertomeu, head of sustainability and innovation at Helados ESTIU, had an enriching dialogue with Sabrina Femenia, explaining the commitments and initiatives that have been carried out by the company.
