As part of the ISBAP Project, the partners visited Aguas de Chóvar and SPB in November to learn about their success stories in terms of digital transformation.
Juan Puig, Plant Manager at Aguas de Chóvar, gave the attendees an exclusive insight into the company’s bottling process, highlighting the technological advances implemented at the plant, including the management of energy consumption and costs through an innovative cloud platform, which allows monitoring consumption in kilowatts per hour and its equivalent in costs for each bottle format.
At SPB they were also able to enjoy a tour of the plant guided by Lucas Tarín, in charge of the bottling section, where they learned about all the bottling sections (blowing, storage, filling, quality, labelling, palletising). In addition, the operation of the “MES” system that the company has implemented was explained.
