Informs

Embutidos Martínez is a leading Spanish company in the production of fresh and cured sausages, burger meat and premium hamburgers, with a current production of around 43 million kilograms of product. Together with Platos Tradicionales, Cinco Tenedores, La Pila Food and the KM ZERO foundation, it forms part of the Familia Martínez corporate division. The shared mission of these companies is to create tasty, healthy, simple and sustainable solutions to feed more than two million people every day. Founded by Francisco Martínez, the companies that make up Familia Martínez directly employ more than 1,800 people in their different plants, spread between Madrid and Valencia.

As an example of the importance of Familia Martínez, Embutidos Martínez participated in the European Commission’s Better Training for Safer Food initiative, organised by AINIA, in which almost fifty health inspectors from 20 European Union countries visited the company as an international benchmark meat company in food safety.

Javier Blanch Desco, Director of Marsh & McLennan’s Region of Valencia and Murcia, presented the award to María Cardona, Corporate Director of Quality and Non-Quality Scientist at Familia Martínez.
